Great views with very few tourists. Tower C9 is a great place to view rural land and the mountains of Appalachia. Somewhat steep hike, but short and worth it. No restroom, no handicap accessible to tower.
Seems like it's going nowhere and then all of a sudden BAM! Best view you will see. There's a short walk at the end of the road and then a 360° view for miles.
Beautiful views, not much of a hike but a great place to see. Highly recommend anytime of the year.
